The problem

The work is public. Finding it in time is the hard part.

Dozens of websites

It's scattered everywhere

State jobs post on the ESBD. Every school district, city and county runs its own bid page. Nobody has time to check them all.

200+ page spec books

Your scope is buried

A job titled "Facility Improvements" might hold a big drywall package on page 140. You only find out if you read the whole thing.

Days, not weeks

You hear about it too late

GCs need sub quotes days before their own bid is due. By the time a job reaches you by word of mouth, the window is often closed.

How it works

Set it up once. Get your list every Monday.

  1. Tell us what you do

Your trades, your shop's ZIP, how far you'll drive, and the job sizes you take on.

  2. We read every posting

Each morning we check public bid sites across DFW and read the bid documents to find drywall and framing scope.

  3. You get the matches

A short email with each job, your scope, the deadline for sub quotes, and the GCs bidding it.

Every job breakdown

Know if it's worth pricing before you open the plans.

HUB-certified?

GCs on state jobs have to come looking for you.

Questions

Straight answers

What kind of work does this cover?

Commercial and institutional building work that public agencies put out to bid: schools, city and county buildings, state agencies and universities, plus public housing programs.

Where do the jobs come from?

Public bid postings from Texas agencies: the state's ESBD, school district portals, and city and county bid pages across DFW.

Do GCs see my information?

No. Nothing about you goes to a GC unless you choose to send an intro.

Do I need to be HUB-certified?

No. Every sub gets the full list. HUB-certified subs also see GCs that are actively looking for certified partners.

Which trades do you support?

Drywall, tape and float, metal stud and wood framing, and acoustic ceilings. More trades will follow based on what members ask for.

Who's behind this?

Scopeline is built in DFW by someone who works in commercial construction and got tired of hearing about good jobs too late.
